FAQ (Day Excursions)

1. Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

Yes we do! We sell AMb. travel Gift Vouchers from £10.00 in five pound increments up to £100.00. Gift vouchers are vaild for six months and are available for use on any AMb. travel Day Excursion.

2. Are my personal details secure?

Yes. We take security very seriously and your personal information is submitted via a secure server with 128-bit SSL encryption. (We do not store debit or credit card information)

3. How much and when do I have to pay?

Day Excursions require a minimum of £20.00 as a deposit (non refundable), with the balance to be paid at least 4 weeks before the departure date.

4. What form of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by Credit Card (although these are subject to a 3% bank charge).
We also accept debit cards, cheques and cash (without additional charges).

5. Can we request a particular seat on the coach?

Yes you may, providing the seats are not already booked by another passenger (seats are allocated at the time of booking).
Front seats can be reserved as pairs and we do not charge an additional supplement - they are simply on a first come, first served basis.
As our front seats are so popular, we cannot allow single passengers to take one of the front seats - sorry!

6. Do you operate a feeder service?

Yes we do. We have two designated pick-up routes that both feed into Ashford, which is where you will join the main tour/excursion coach (if you are not already on board).

7. Do you do home pick-ups?

Yes we do. We offer a home pick-up service on all our Excursions (for an additional charge). Clients are picked up from home and taken to join the main tour/excursion coach (normally in Ashford - this may be a shared service). When we provide this service, our vehicle will wait with you until the tour/excursion coach arrives and will be waiting for you as the tour/excursion coach arrives back! You won't be left to wait in the weather , nor will you have to telephone anyone to advise when you will be back etc.

8. Is the price shown 'per person'?

Yes. The 'From Price' shown is PER PERSON - although the from price will be the cheapest price on offer, this may not be the price applicable to you - it may be the price for a child and will include any online discount.

9. I've made a booking, when do I get my tickets?

You will be issued with a Booking Confirmation at the time of booking. All entrance tickets are given out on the day by your driver.

10. Will there be a toilet on the coach?

Most of our excursion coaches have toilet facilities onboard. However we cannot guarentee this.
Most of our journeys incorporate a convenience stop on the way.
Of course, some of our Feeder Vehicles (minibuses) do not have this facility.

11. I am travelling on a Continental excursion, do I need to take my passport?

Yes. For all journeys departing the UK, you MUST take your valid passport.

12. Do your coaches have air conditioning?

All of our coaches are fitted with air conditioning to ensure passengers are travelling in a comfortable temperature controlled environment all year round.

13. Will there be enough leg room?

All of our coaches are built to a high touring specification, so they have plenty of leg room with foot rests.

14. Driver Gratuities, are they included?

No. We feel that you would rather deal with this personally. If you feel you've had good service and would like to reward our driver - please do so!

15. Where do I find my Pick-up time?

The time of pick-up will be confirmed at the time of booking and should not change.

16. Can I view one of your coaches?

Yes. Please ring beforehand to make an appointment.

17. Can I bring my wheelchair/mobility scooter?

Yes. Providing we have been informed at the time of booking, and providing the item meets the requirements of our Terms and Conditions a copy of which can be viewed on our main web site.

18. Dietary Requirements for inclusive meals/refreshments?

Dietary Requirements for inclusive meals/refreshments?
When our excursion includes meals and/or refreshments, you must make us aware of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. When you have, we will add this information to your booking confirmation as special requirements. We accept no responsibility if you do not notify us of any special dietary requirements you/your group may have.
